The Drive In
The Farmer's was built back in 1964. It has been repaired and upgraded for safety and comfort over the decades but it is essentially the same structure. You are entering and eating at a piece of 20th Century Roadside Architectural history!
About Us
Annette Osher bought the The Farmer's Daughters' Drive-In over 15 years ago, but the place has been around since the 60's. It is almost the same - except for some minor renovations like air conditioning in the dining area and new bathrooms. Before she bought the The Farmer's Daughters' Drive-In, Annette ran the Starting Gate bar and restaurant in Albany, which is still located on Watervliet Avenue. She also ran the Bus Stop fast food outlet and convenience store in West Albany, at Central and Osborne. Currently, she also runs Distinctive Catering.
